We've Moved
After a lot of careful thought and putting some things in the works...
I have decided that it was time to move on from this blog. I feel that this blog was very juvenile to me, it guided me through a couple long years of young adult life.
I've grown so much since this blog began and learned so many things and made so many wonderful friends... I can only hope that you all will follow me to my new home on the WWW.
At my new blog..

Men and Women
Why is it that the American wife is disgusted by the idea that their husband looks at porn? Why are men so turned on by it, why are they entranced by the images of women that are virtually unattainable? Why are men slightly more susceptible straying from the women they chose to partner with? (Notice I said slightly, in recent years the female "infidelity" percentage has risen considerably and are beginning to show traits, in scientific studies, of male pattern infidelity.) Why are more women choosing not to have children in this day and age? Why is pop culture affecting the breeding patterns of humans? The answer is more complex than simple, the media affects our culture and our culture then affects our breeding and sexuality patterns.
I was married at 17 and in this day and age that's virtually unheard of as an acceptable thing to do, but rewind 50 years and it was the ONLY thing you see, women who were in their twenties and unmarried were completely uncommon. What has changed so much that makes these patterns change so drastically from the 50's to now? Are we not anatomically the same? Are we not physiologically the same as those women? The more I've thought about this and the more I've researched in my own time the sexual and emotional differences between men and women, the more and more I'm beginning to believe that the media is truly shaping the direction our society is going.. Divorce is now just a common every day thing, because it's downplayed by the celebrity figures, more and more families are split and mixed families, more women are choosing not to get married or have children, or very late in life, when the fact of the matter is that we are born with the innate need/drive to reproduce. Which makes me wonder why "christians" don't treat couples who don't want to have children with the same disrespect that they treat homosexual couples who obviously can't have children that are biologically theirs? Why not discriminate against both of them, instead of just choosing to pick on one of them because one is "unnatural" isn't the choice to NOT procreate considered "unnatural" as well?
The media is shaping our lives in an irreversible pattern that is starting to show itself in todays divorce rate, the parent to child ratio's, the ratio of unmarried men and women by age to married men and women by age. I don't care what anyone says, it is FACT that we are born with the innate needs and desires to make lots of babies and procreate like rabbits, even women and men who SWEAR they don't ever want children, it is because pop culture, the media and other miscellaneous outside influences make them take note that they would have to give up their current comfortable lifestyle to have responsibility and nurse suckling babies and financially care for a child, so they are transformed into a "ME ME ME" as I like to call them, and don't knock it, because even if you HAVE kids, we are all still a little "ME ME ME" at times... but these people are NOT born with the notion of NEVER wanting kids, they are born with the need to procreate but will ultimately train themselves out of it because their own selfish needs far outweigh the hormonal and emotional distinctions in their brains...Men are more so connected to that innate need to father their own child. Why do you think MILLIONS of sperm are released in one single ejaculation? Whereas women, have the innate need to CARE for the child, not create millions of them. Women release just one egg. Not millions. They allow for the fertilization of one egg to meet the need of the male, and then in birth, they turn hands to be the nurturer or caregiver. Human women are a very interesting species that fascinate scientists today because we adopt children, just that amazes scientists. Science has studied male and female sex and breeding patterns of animals since the beginning of science itself and have rarely, if ever, seen a species take on another breeding pairs young and treat it as their own.
The question I ask society is, why? Are were turning ourselves into this mirror image of what we see in the media and what the infamous "they" portrays to us? What is so captivating by this existance? Why is it so easy for the media to shape our beliefs moreso than even Churches of America or our own families? What tools have they mastered that are so powerful that they have completely rerouted society's natural flow? It's easy to see it in advertising, they make millions of dollars a year off of people from simply advertising a product... why not advertise American Society a brand new culture and see who follows suit first?Labels: current events, media, psychology, relationship, society, sociology
